Astrocartography projects planetary angular positions from a birth chart onto a world map. Lines indicate places where a planet was rising, setting, culminating or at the lower meridian at the recorded birth moment. The map is global: a person born in Dubai can compare Toronto, London, Singapore or any other location using the same astronomical instant.
A line is not a promise that a city will be lucky or difficult. It highlights a symbolic emphasis that should be interpreted with the natal chart, nearby crossings, distance from the line and practical facts such as work, safety, immigration, language and community. - The geometry is worldwide. Coordinates and UTC provide a common reference, so cities in the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania can be compared.
- How accurate does my birth time need to be?
- Angular lines are time-sensitive. Use the most reliable recorded time available and treat maps made from rounded or uncertain times as exploratory.
